Girls bowling took seventh in team competition and Brenton Mauldin took 68th in individuals with a total of 488 at the state tournament yesterday.
Nine students attended state this year; six girls and two alternate girls along with Mauldin in individuals.
The boys team has been rebuilding their team for the past three months in hopes to place in regionals next year. The girls team has had a successful season but will be losing three varsity seniors.
“Girls took second at conference, first at regionals and went to state so they had a good season,” Coach Dave Walker said. “Guys are young and rebuilding, so we will get better.”
