I’m not one for commenting on these posts, but felt I should because I’m one of the fortunate guys that has been able to work at Maize. First of all, I want to share that I’m very thankful and appreciative to be able teach at Maize High School for almost 30 years, truly a blessing. Every job has it’s ups and downs and people probably contemplate a new vocation in every job. I just want people in the community to know I work with awesome people, and cool kids. Teaching is an honoring profession that allows for lifetime relationships, impacting kids for the future, being on the recieving end of learning, and getting weekends and holidays to spend with family. How cool is that. Just wanting people in this group to know ” I’m one of luckiest guys in the world to be able to teach and coach. My experience has been so profitable and beneficial. My time and people here are so valuable. Mike Darrah
