Girls basketball coach Jerrod Handy and boys basketball coach Chris Davis are both looking forward to a good season.
“I think we’ll see good improvement in all of the returning players this year,” Handy said.
Hopes are high that each of the teams will make it to state.
Davis shares Handy’s enthusiasm and hopes for a successful upcoming season, aiming for state games in March.
“I just want them to play as hard and as smart as possible, everything else will work itself out,” Davis said. “I really want to play in March.”
The first game of the season will be Dec. 6 at Emporia for the boys and Dec. 10 at home for the girls.
