Agenda books will no longer be used at Maize next school year. The decision to no longer have agenda books was made due to them being financially unnecessary given current technology.

Principal Chris Botts said he isn’t sure what new system will replace the agendas. He said they are going to look into finding digital solutions as an alternative.

I think we will be working with our Chromebooks to find tools that will help students keep track of their work,” he said.

Sophomore Zoie Ecord said she wrote in her agenda for each class. Ecord said she isn’t upset because students like her will simply buy their own planners.

“Now not as many kids will be wasting them,” she said.
