Red Rage is selling members until Aug. 30. Memberships include a t-shirt and admission to all home games.

Red Rage, Maize High’s spirit club, has started selling memberships for the year. The $10 membership includes a t-shirt and free access to every regular-season home game for the whole year.

The membership permits access into home volleyball, softball, baseball, football, soccer, and basketball games. Red Rage leaders have started coming to En-Cors to sell them and their selling them at lunch also.

Senior Josh McLaughlin, a Red Rage leader, thinks people needs to buy the memberships for a few reasons.

“People need to buy the membership because it’s worth it,” McLaughlin said. “The membership pays off after going to three games and you get a pretty cool shirt with it.”

McLaughlin is in the lead, selling over 80 memberships.

“I am going to win,” McLaughlin said. “I do not want to get second place.”

One of Red Rage’s sponsors, Rebecca Hawthorne, is said she is excited about this year with the Red Rage Leadership Team and also thinks people should buy the membership.

“You get so much for a little cost,” Hawthorne said. “Even if you go to two or three games it worth it because you get a t-shirt and tons of freebies.”

Hawthorne hopes to get many students to the games so they can fill the student section. She also wants to help the underclassmen get more involved with the student body.

“I want [underclassmen] to see that it’s okay to be crazy, to do the school chants, and to dress up for all of the games,” Hawthorne said.

The last day to buy the memberships will be Aug. 3o. Red Rage leaders will be selling them during all three lunches and during En-Cor.
