The girls golf ended the season with six tournament wins and placing second at state behind Garden City. Senior Taelyn Entriken took third place overall shooting a 75 finishing a great career along with the other seniors on the team.
“Taelyn Entriken, Lauren Copp, and Ashley Reiswig capped off a great career,” head coach Ben Harlow said.
It was a slow start for the girls but they were able to come together and take second place.
“This team really found themselves midway,” Harlow said. “High school golf in Kansas is a one day tournament, it should be a two day tournament, so you just got to show up and compete your very best that day.”
As for next year, Harlow is excited to see what the ladies can do.
“We have Brooke Johansen and Brittani Casement coming back,” Harlow said. “We have a lot of girls on the JV team that really want to play a lot of golf.”
