Wrestling takes sixth at Mid-America Nationals

The wrestlers competed this weekend at the Mid-America Nationals in Enid, Okla.

They placed sixth overall with individuals placing in the top 10.

Freshman Kyle Haas took first in his class, junior Aidan Campbell and sophomore Duwayne Villalpando took third, sophomore Junior Camacho took sixth, junior Jacob Quiggle took seventh, junior Jose Ledesma and freshman Cayden Hughbanks took eighth, seniors Zion Silvers and Talon Fitzmier took ninth, and senior Justin Watkins took tenth.

The next time the boys wrestle will be a dual at Campus on Thursday and then in a tournament Saturday at Emporia.
