Cross Country races at Lake Afton

Senior Carson Pierce finishes one second ahead of sophomore Annie Allenbach.
The girls team took second with an average time of 21:28. The boys team average time was 17:16 and took third.
Senior Nathan Jones took first with the time 16:13. Sophomore Anna Reimer took fifth with the time 20:55.
Sophomore Anna Reimer said, “All of the girls were very excited to race and seven of us placed in the top 25. We placed second overall and are looking forward to keep improving, we’re excited for the rest of the season!”
The Eagles next race is on Saturday at Jones Park.
