This weekend at the Wichita Collegiate tournament, girls tennis took fifth place out of a total of 20 teams.

Junior Lillie Williams took third place in singles. Senior Sydney Mcgrown placed 13 in singles. Junior  players Lindsay Adams and Alaina Cunningham took 11 place in doubles. Seniors Madi Arnold and Ana Vo placed 12 in doubles.

“I think our team did fantastically for the first varsity tournament of the season. We got fifth out of 20 teams. The collegiate tournament is also very competitive so I think the outlook for our season is good,” said Williams.

The girls next tournament will be on Thursday, August 31 at home.
