The softball team defeated Derby in a doubleheader Tuesday night. The Eagles won the first game 5-4. The second game the girls won 9-3.

In the second game, junior Savannah Hughes hit a homerun in the first inning, scoring two runs for the team. Freshman Sophia Buzard also hit a homerun in the second inning, scoring three runs.

The Eagles play again Friday against Shawnee Mission Northwest and Shawnee Mission North in Kansas City.
