A hat trick by Junior MaKayla Toth helped carry Maize past Andover 7-0 on Tuesday night at Maize High.

It didn’t take very long for Maize to get the scoring started. Just eight minutes into the game Maize found themselves leading 2-0 over the Trojans of Andover. The Eagles aggressive offensive play set the tone for their dominant performance. Toth led Maize with 3 goals. Seniors Tanna Benefiel and Ashley Zane contributed with goals as well.

Andover struggled to produce anything offensively, and couldn’t do much with the fleeting chances they had. Maize’s smothering defense has allowed just one goal all season through six games.

Maize will put their undefeated streak on the line once again at home on Saturday against Shawnee Mission-East at 2:00.
