Girls basketball defeats Eisenhower

January 21, 2016

The girls basketball team defeated Eisenhower last night 68-44. Junior Brecken Roe led the team with 16 points followed closely by senior HaLee Roland with 13 points.

“I thought we played pretty good, we started … out good, and then we kind of slowed down, but then towards the end we really pulled away,” sophomore Bailey Stedman said.

The team held Eisenhower to only 1 point in the first quarter. At the half, the Eagles only allowed 16 points.

“Our main point is just defense and staying in front,” Stedman said.

The team’s next game will be at 7:30 p.m. at home against Andover Central.
