The morning of Sept. 23rd is when all decorations for this years book fair contest are due.

Students that participate in the contest have to fit a certain criteria to be accepted. The decorations have

to fit the theme of the book fair and the color scheme.

“This year’s theme is Egyptian oasis. Students are allowed to have a maximum of five

members in their group,” Marlene Meckenstock said.

Meckenstock asks that all participants come to her once they have come up with their

design to inform participants about the scale the decoration needs to be.

“The entries will be here on display during the bookfair and then a team of teachers will

judge the entries. If the entries meet the quality they will be entered into a drawing,” Marlene Meckenstock said.

Conferences will be held Wednesday night Sept 24th and Thursday Sept 25th, during

that time the book fair will be open for parents and students to see the decorations that will be

on display.
