Saturday the cross country team went to Emporia to compete against Manhattan, Saint Thomas Aquinas, Campus, Washburn Rural, Junction City, Wichita Northwest, Emporia, Blue Valley North, Lawrence, and Lawrence Free State.

The boys team took first as a team placing all seven of their runners in the top twenty.

“Five of the six girls that ran, ran quite a bit faster than the week before,” Rankins said.
