    Eagles place 6th in McPherson Tournament

    Eagles lost to Blue Valley West 60-57 in the 5th place game at the McPherson Tournament.

    The boys basketball team received 6th place in the McPherson Tournament this past weekend.

    The final game they played was against Blue Valley West (BVW). The Eagles fell to BVW 60-57.

    The Eagles led at the half 29-28 and continued with their lead until the final two minutes of the game when BVW went on a 11-1 run till the end of the game.

    Senior Matthew LeBegue lead the team with 18 points, junior Jacob Shultz had 12 points and senior Ky-Sean Johnson with 11 points.

    The boys will be playing at 7:30 P.M. at Eisenhower on Jan. 27.
