Boys basketball defeated Arkansas City Dec. 9, 79-59.
The Eagles came out firing, leading at halftime, 42-29.
The boys did not stop as they took the game in the second half.
“I think we played pretty well for a game this early in the season,” senior guard Cortlin Standifer said. “We really need to work on our defense and free throws going into Friday’s game.”
The boys will hit the court again 7 p.m. Friday away at Hutchinson.
