Smoothies were being sold during En-cor and before school on Sept. 30 by the culinary classes. Cara Poole, the culinary arts teacher, had her culinary classes sell the smoothies to the students.
“We wanted to give [students] something in their stomach,” senior Duncan Pepper said. “Since most people usually skip breakfast.”
All of the money goes towards the culinary classes. They don’t necessarily need the money, they just wanted to do it for fun. The class sat around thinking of ideas of items to serve that are nutritious, while still tasting good and they decided upon smoothies. The next smoothie sale day will be on Oct. 28.
