Video: Position swap sparks Eagles winning streak
After struggling to find momentum on offense, Maize decided to swap their quarterback and wide receiver. Since then, the Eagles have averaged more than 45 points per game.

Senior Katelyn Coffey is in her first year on the One Maize staff. She is also the Head Editor of the Maize High Yearbook. Katelyn has won 2nd place regionally 2 years in a row and won 4th place at the Kansas Scholastic Press Association competition. She loves composing music on her guitar and piano in her free time along with listening to her diverse record and CD collection. Katelyn plans on going into the journalism field after graduation as a sports photographer.

Junior, Ava Doyle has been involved in media since 7th grade and is in her 3rd Semester apart of OneMaize Media. Doyle has created content as in “Love is blind” and sports coverage. Doyle hopes to continue to explore career opportunities within the field of broadcast journalism.
