    Wrestlers end season with state finishers

    Last Friday the wrestlers sent nine qualifiers to the state tournament. The squad had three seniors qualify, one junior, three sophomores, and one freshman.

    At the end of the tournament sophomore Brett Moon placed third at 152 in class 6A. Sophomore Alex Hydock placed fourth at 145, seniors Fernando Nuno, Kane Crider, and Jacob Wilgers placed fifth. Wilgers at 126, Crider at 113, and Nuno at 138. Sophomore Cole Moses also took fifth at 132.

    “We did really well,  we had six people place,” Nuno said, “I’m really glad that my last year ended like this.”
