Girls basketball retrieved another win Friday against Hutchinson 41-23.

Juniors Keiryn Swenson and Daley Handy led the team in points.

Swenson having 12 and Handy with 10.

One thing that coach Jerrod Handy believed that improved was defense.

“We didn’t give up as near easy baskets,” Handy said.

Though their defense was better, offense didn’t play on their A-game and had many turnovers.

“It’s just a matter of getting better in all phases of the game,” Handy said.

Girls next game will be on the road against Derby on Tuesday.
