Boys basketball played a close game but managed to defeat  Andover 65-63.

Senior Jacob Horsch led the Eagles with 23 points. Senior Aaron Shaw scored 17.

“We were really balanced and we did whatever we wanted to,”  Shaw said. “One thing I didn’t like is that we couldn’t close; we were up big at the end but they came back.”

Andover had the ball with seven seconds to go with a chance to tie the game but didn’t get off a shot.

The boys play against Hutchinson at 7:30 p.m on Friday night at home.
