The Eagles defeated Salina Central 39-14. Maize will face Hutch at home on Friday.
Maize defeated Salina Central Friday 39-14. The Eagles are now 6-1 this season.
The Eagles jumped to an early 7-0 lead on Salina Central in the first quarter when Central missed their field goal.
At the half, the Eagles led Salina Central 24-0. The score was Maize 32-7 at the top of the forth.
With a touchdown by Dalyn Johnson, the final score was 39-14.
The next game will be next Friday at Maize, against Hutchinson.
