The Maize girls golf team finished first at regionals Monday, qualifying them to compete at state.

The Eagles took home the Gold at Stoneridge Golf Course in Great Bend with a total of 393 points. The girls competed against Goddard, Eisenhower, Great Bend, Liberal, Maize South and Bishop Carroll.

Senior Tessa Killian finished first overall with 90 points, junior Riley Hunter finished fourth with 94 points, and freshman Lexie Ridder finished eighth with 101 points.
