Girls basketball defeats Emporia last Friday at home 54-37. Senior Taylor Holmes carried the team with 17 points and senior Brecken Roe followed with 13.
During the first quarter the Lady Eagle led 21-11.
The girls were up 40-25 after three and came to win the game with a 17 lead, 54-37.
They play Derby at home Friday.
