The co-ed cheer team has been working alongside the Tri-County Cheerleaders to put together a routine since mid-August. They have been meeting up on Tuesdays and Thursdays during En-Cor in preparation for the first performance at Friday’s football game.

The Tri-County Cheerleaders have been having a lot of fun learning the routine alongside the Maize cheerleaders.

“[Cheering] is about how much fun you’re having while doing it, which they [the Tri-County Cheerleaders] definitely show you.” junior Lori Wagner said.

There has been a lot of bonding between both cheer squads during the teaching and learning process.

“You can always have fun when you are with your friends cheering people on.” sophomore Jo Besse said.
