Tennis team takes third at league tournament

The girls tennis team took third in the AVCTL tournament on Oct. 3.

Senior Tiffani Holman took second for number one singles, senior Madison Loudermilk took fifth in number one singles, and doubles team senior Cassidy Darrah and Junior Mia Magby took seventh.

“I took second for number one singles. I first played Salina Central and then Derby and that match was kind of the big one for me,” Holman said.

The next meet is regionals on Saturday at Valley Center. Loudermilk, Holman, Darrah and Magby, sophomore Madi Arnold and sophomore Ana Vo will all be competing to go to state.
