The softball team won a double header league game against Newton last Friday. They run-ruled both games 10-0 and 15-0.

Freshmen Lauryn Ogden and Savie Hughes hit back-to-back home runs during the first game. Sophomore Maura Glatczak also hit a home run during the second game.

“We hit the ball really well and played good defense,” coach Jenny Meirowsky said.

They will play again at 4 p.m. tomorrow at Goddard.
