The Vocal Department is putting on their Senior Showcase on May 1 and 2 at 7:30 p.m. The theme is Once Upon a Time.

“The first half is a fractured fairy tale and the second half is a fairy tale of the seniors’ lives,” choir director Doris Prater said.

Prater, along with the choir students, have been preparing the show since Christmas Break. The show this years entails more acting than previous years.

“It’s more of an acting show because we have a large number of kids in this graduating class that act and are actors and actresses, so this was the year to try something different,” Prater said.

Once Upon a Time puts a modern spin on fairy tales through current songs along with the classics.
