The boys swim team won their eighth consecutive ACVTL Division I league championship at home this weekend.

In the 200 yard medley relay, seniors Ryan Kuhl, and Kyle Stutzman and juniors Christian Taylor and Jacob Ruder took third with a time of 1:44.12.

In the 400 freestyle relay, Kuhl, Ruder, Taylor and freshman Bryce Nelson took third with a time of 3:24.47.

Taylor took took seventh in the 200 yard individual medley with a time of 2:04.33, seventh in the 100 yard butterfly with a time of 56.01 and sixth in the 100 yard breaststroke with a time of 1:02.57 and took 10 overall.

Kuhl took eighth in the 100 yard backstroke with a time of 57.63 and has qualified for all eight events at state.

Kuhl, senior Logan Patterson, Taylor, Ruder, Nelson, Stutzman, juniors Colton Lumpkins, Ryce Olson, sophomore Nolan Palmer and freshman Britton Beggs and have all qualified for state.

State is on Feb. 16-19.
