Yesterday, Eagles soccer team lost to Derby 2-1. The only goal scored by the Eagles was scored in the second half by junior Ethan Kingrey.

“We could have won the game, but they just scored at the last second, and we couldn’t get another goal,” said Kingrey.

Kingrey said he believes the team needs to improve on their defense.

“They were a tough opponent, but we just made a few mistakes and just let them slip through,” said Kingrey.

Their next game will be this Thursday at Salina South.
